This rustic house is located in 'El Toril' - a small hamlet some 15 minutes from Periana or Alcaucin and only 10 minutes from the nearest shops and restaurants in Puente don Manuel.

Set amidst vast olive groves with views over the valley and Viñuela lake in the distance, this location is the ideal place to unwind.

The originally 200-year-old cottage exudes authenticity and character. Its thick walls, wooden joinery with shutters and original wooden beams in the ceiling have all been preserved.
We enter the house through the front of the building, where there is ample parking. We enter the lounge/dining room. A fireplace here provides the necessary warmth in the coldest months.

Adjoining this living room are 2 bedrooms. Right in front of us is the rustic kitchen, equipped with all the necessary items such as a gas hob and electric oven. In a small annex there is room for the washing machine and dishwasher. Through this annex we enter the large terrace with swimming pool (6 x 2,5m) with private views up to the mountains behind the house. A beautiful mature fig tree provides sufficient shade in summer.

On the first floor of this part of the house we find a reading/TV corner and a bathroom. Next to it on the front of the house we find a very spacious masterbedroom.

In a slightly lower 2nd part of the house is a completely separate guest house including kitchenette and bathroom. A spacious 20m2 terrace at the front of this building is the ideal place to start the day with rising sun.

This property has been successfully rented out as a holiday home in the past. Access is fully paved and its location about 30 minutes from the coast and around an hour from the airport makes it well worth a visit.
